Petrichor:  ArtofWhere above. Check out my designs.

I don't know why I chose Art. I believe it chose me. The more I think about it, the more the answers sound forced and silly. It really doesn't matter where I am from because that certainly does not have bearing on being an artist. It doesn't even matter if I went to a prestigious art school,  which I did not, because you still have to apply yourself in the world afterwards. I did, however, apprentice  for several different people in multiple media to acquire the necessary skills I needed to be the artist I am now. Such industries as Stained Glass, Color Theory and Printing, Sculpting and Pottery, Construction, Layout and Design, Picture Framing and more.

I also own an art store, Pen Dragon Fine Art, and became a  Certified Art Material Professional (CAMP tested) through the National Art Material Trade Association, NAMTA.

Teaching and passing along all the things I have learned over the years to others is another surprising life development I did not see coming.  I am currently the Artist in Residence at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center in Gainesville Georgia and that really works for me.
